Schriftentwurf: 1978 wurde von Christian Mengelt, im Auftraf und in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Karl Gerstner, die Schrift Futura Bold für das neue Swissair-Logo neu gezeichnet und das ganze Alphabet als Swissair-Type für das gesamte typografische Erscheinungsbild der neuen Swissair Identity überarbeitet.         Typedesign: 1978 became the typeface Futura Bold revised and redesigned by Christian Mengelt, under contract and close co-operation with Karl Gerstner, both for the new Swissair logo, and the entire alphabet as Swissair-type for the typographic appearance of the new Swissair identity.
